Motorola and Verizon is creating an iPad styled tablet PC

Motorola has teamed up with Verizon to develop a tablet PC that will allow users to watch TV on the move. It will compete directly with Apple’s iPad and is expected to launch at the same time as Verizon’s FiOS digital pay-television service. Motorola is making the set-top boxes for Verizon’s pay-television service.
The device will support Flash, the standard software for viewing videos online, whereas the iPad has chosen to utilise HTML5. Although Apple has sold the iPad in vast quantities, they have moved from number seven to number three in the global market for worldwide portable computers according to Deutsche Bank, they did launched Apple TV that has not sold as successfully.
Motorola’s device, which will run on Google’s Android operating system, will be thinner and lighter than the iPad and have the ability to share its wireless data connection with nearby places. It is also expected to have two cameras; one for video conferencing and one for taking photos.
