7 Tips On Managing Your Company Facebook Page

Companies create Facebook pages in order to profit from Facebook’s enormous social network with of 600 million users. This gives companies a powerful platform to interact with their customers.

Professionalism is important since you can’t talk with your fans like talking with your friends. Most of the companies manage their Facebook Company page as though it was their own personal Facbook Page. Managing a Company Facebook page is different because whatever is said on that page reflects upon your company image. Below are 7 tips that should help you when managing your Company Facebook Page.

1.            Posting Too Many Times A Day

There isn’t any formula for this but posting more than 10 posts in a day can be seen as a spam.

2.            Repeating The Same Content

Reposting can be done in some circumstances. But don’t repeat it too much. If you have to post content again then at least change its format.

3.            Arguing With Your Fans

Don’t argue with your fans. There is nothing to gain from this. It will only make you look bad.

4.            Deleting Negative Comments

Don’t delete the negative comments. You have to create a real conversation with your fans and some of them could be negative. Learn how to manage them by responding to them with care and respect.

5.            Posting Too Often

This is not the same as rule 1. You can post 5 or 6 post in a day. But what happens if you post them very close to each other? Some may think you are just spamming.

6.            Posting Boring Content

Try to be innovative and creative in your postings. You don’t always need to post some witty comment; you can post images, flash animations and videos. etc. Etc.

7.            Respond To Your Fans

This is the best thing you could do for your Company Facebook Page because people love a page that is active. Social Media is a powerful tool only if the conversation is happening both ways. Try to respond to your fans as much as possible, especially if it is a question.
